What We Do

Store to Door® (supported by the efforts of over 400 volunteers) shops for and delivers groceries to approximately 500 households a week. We serve over 1,000 adults who are unable to shop for themselves. We partner with five strategically-located Cub Foods stores to deliver competitively-priced, quality product to our customers.

How We Serve

  • Easy phone registration process, requiring personal information as well as limited financial data.
  • Bi-weekly grocery and prescription delivery on a regularly-scheduled day.
  • Work with friendly staff or volunteer Order Taker, developing personal grocery order.
  • Groceries delivered directly to your kitchen.
  • Access to complete selection of over 50,000 items in Cub Foods stores.
  • Manufacturer coupons accepted.
  • Subsidized delivery fees linked to income available to customer. Federal Poverty guidelines determine applicability for subsidization.
  • Alternative Care and Elderly Waiver approved.
  • Three-month initial minimal time commitment; bi-weekly orders.
  • Minimum order requirement applies.

The Process

  • Enroll for service by calling Store to Door® at 651.642.1892.
  • You create your grocery order working with a Volunteer or staff Order Taker.
  • Your order is shopped by volunteers at one of five Metro area Cub Foods stores.
  • Your order is run through the Cub Foods register, generating two receipts.
  • Store to Door® Delivery Coordinators deliver your groceries and your itemized register receipt. (We put cold food in your refrigerator and loosen tight caps, on your request!)
  • You write a check for groceries and delivery fee (if applicable) to Store to Door®.
