Local companies play a vital role in expanding Store To Door’s services to seniors.
And when corporations like 3M provide a combination of financial and volunteer support, it’s extra special.
This month the Store To Door team was thrilled to receive $3000 from 3M in recognition of the volunteer time given by 3M employees and alumni.
As part of the 3Mgives Volunteer Match program, 3M donates $250 to nonprofit organizations for which a 3M employee volunteers 20 hours or a 3M retiree volunteers 25 hours or more per calendar year. Twelve 3M individuals volunteered with Store To Door in 2014.
“3M employees and alumni generously give their time and skills to help improve lives,” said Kimberly Price, vice-president, 3Mgives. “We are pleased to recognize their commitment to their communities.”
