Help Meet the $30,000 Challenge

New and increased individual donations will qualify for matching funds — which help keep our vans — and all our services to seniors — running at full capacity.

Two Twin Cities area foundations are giving Store To Door an incentive to build individual donations.  As much as $30,000 is at stake, and you can help us meet the challenge!

The Pohlad Family Foundation and Katherine B. Andersen Fund of the Saint Paul Foundation have committed to grants totaling $30,000 to spur growth in individual giving.

Here are three ways you and other Store To Door friends can help us secure these additional funds:

  • If you’ve never donated to Store To Door, or if you’ve lapsed in your giving, any contribution up to $500 will be matched by either Katherine B. Andersen or Pohlad funds — doubling the value of your gift.
  • If you’re already an active supporter of Store To Door, any increase in your level of giving will be matched by the Katherine B. Andersen grant.
  • If you can’t give or give more at this time, you can still help us spread the word!  Tell your friends, family members and colleagues about this chance to leverage more funds that will help seniors remain in their own homes.

And please don’t wait.  Our first deadline for qualifying gifts is this fall, and every new donation this summer will make a difference.  If you have questions about the details of the challenge match or ways to give, or if you would like to discuss other ways Store To Door can use your support, contact Tim Puffer, development director, at tim@storetodoor.org or (651) 209-1855.
