Volunteer order takers work when and where they want, calling seniors and entering their grocery orders online.

Volunteers are the very heart of our nonprofit services.

Each year, more than 650 volunteers call seniors to take their grocery orders, shop the grocery store aisles, and help out with community outreach, coupon clipping and office tasks.

And volunteers love their work!

“The best thing a client said to me was, ‘Even though we have never met, I consider you a dear friend.’ I thought that was very sweet of her to say!”— Order taker

“I like the feeling of doing something to help others who cannot do for themselves.  I enjoy the fellowship of our  shopping team and delivery personnel, plus it is a good way to get some exercise.”— Shopper
